Thompson (Thom) Allen Smith, 55, passed away at his home in Johnson City, Oregon, October 4, 2022, from natural causes. Thom was born December 27, 1966, in Tacoma, Washington. Thom was the youngest of 8 children.
Thom had a lust for life. There wasn't a person he met that didn't become a friend. Thom had a passion for the beach. He spent as much time as possible there, whether for the day, or renting a home for a week to decompress.
Thom is survived by son Jacob Smith (mother Judy), son Zachary Smith (mother Trisha), siblings Richard Smith, Barb Hartzell, Gary Smith, Lawrence (Cathy) Smith, Kim (Scott) Wilson, and Robert Smith. Thom is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Thom was preceded in death by his father Glen Sawyer, mother Irene Smith, brother Kenny Smith, and nephew Danny Harner.
We will truly miss Thom as a Father, Brother, Uncle, and Friend. He kept us laughing. He had such a fun and goofy personality. Rest in peace Thom, we will love and miss you every day.
