Timothy Aaron Max, also known as Tim, passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 76 in Gresham, OR. He was born on June 23, 1947, in Des Moines, IA.
Tim's father was a pastor and the family moved around the state of Iowa through his growing up years. Ultimately, Tim graduated from high school when they settled in Chariton, Iowa. Chariton is where Tim met his future wife, Beverlee Vincent. They were married on February 28, 1970.
Tim had a rich educational background. After graduating from Chariton High School, he pursued his bachelor's degree in mathematics and doctorate in statistics at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. He ultimately went to work for the U S Forest Service, division of USDA.
Tim is survived by his loving wife, Beverlee, and their sons, Aaron (Kryn) Max and Jason (Sarah) Max and grandchildren, Courtnee, Kendra (Jessie) Glass, Cameron and Pippa. He is also survived by his sisters, Lorelei (Tim) McIntire, Eleanor (Paul) Miller and brother David (Judy) Max.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. Homer and Rosamond Max; his brother, Homer L. Max, Jr; and mother and father-in-law, Verne and Irene Vincent.
Timothy Aaron Max will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
