Warren Handy, of Oregon City, OR, passed away on Saturday, November 18th, 2023. He was 41.
Warren was born on March 19th, 1982 to Thomas and Julia Handy. He was always a fighter, being born 11 weeks premature at OHSU in Portland, Oregon. He was small but mighty!!
He grew up in Oregon City, graduating from Oregon City High School in 2000. During his school years, he made many lifelong friends, creating lasting memories with all the shenanigans they got up to.
After school, Warren decided to branch out on his own, becoming a general contractor, specializing in home remodeling. In this industry, he also made many friends of his co-workers, creating relationships that went beyond work.
Warren lived for anything outdoors: hunting and fishing being his favorite outdoor activies. He started at a young age, going hunting and fishing with his father and uncle, looking for their next big catch.
Two of the best days of his life were the days that his daughters, Alicia and Alexandra, were born. He enjoyed spending time with them, watching them do the stuff they loved, from t-ball to soccer, dance recitals to volleyball games. He also loved taking them hunting and fishing, and sharing his passion for the great outdoors.
In addition to his father and mother, he is survived by his grandmother Jacqueline Ingalls, daughters, sister Shannon Marrs and brother-in-law Anthony. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers Thomas Handy and Warren Ingalls, grandmother Vera Handy, and older brother Brian, who passed away in infancy.
Services for Warren will be held on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, at 10am at Trinity Lutheran Church: 16000 S Henrici, Oregon City, OR, 97045. Reception to follow.
