Obituary

Wayne was born December 11, 1937, Easton, Pennsylvania, to Lester Roy and Helen Irene Larison Everett. He was the third of four children. He had many jobs starting at a young age, such as exercising draft horses for local farmers, running milk bottles for dairy delivery drivers, and driving snow plows. He was an EMT for the local volunteer fire department in Stewartsville, New Jersey.

Wayne joined the US Air Force and was stationed at bases around the world, the last being Tachikawa Air Base in Japan. While there he was exposed to Agent Orange, which caused his many health problems. His plane was shot down over Laos and he was a POW for 9 days.

On June 1, 1963, he married Donna May Foumal; they had two children; Sharon Elizabeth and Ronald Alan.

Wayne was Past Master of Parkrose Masonic Lodge AF& AM No. 179, and also joined the Scottish Rite and the Al Kadr Shrine Temple.

Wayne loved hunting, fishing and camping. He and Donna traveled on their Honda Gold Wing to each of the 48 contiguous United States, five Provinces of Canada, and Mexico.

Wayne was predeceased by his parents and his three siblings: Roy Lester Everett, Janet Mae Kline (Ernie) and Lindamae Manners (George). He is survived by his wife of 55-1/2 years, Donna; and Sharon Elizabeth Cathcart (Jeff), and Ronald Alan Everett. His loving Golden Retriever, Elvis, misses him too.
