Wilbur A. Maxson

Wilbur A. Maxson, 84, of Oregon City, Oregon passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022 at his home. He was born December 27, 1937 in Redding, California to Merle and Mildred Maxson. Wilbur was raised in Milwaukie, Oregon, and graduated from Milwaukie High School. On August 9, 1958 he married Donna Barnes in Vista, California. They were happily married for 64 years.
In 1956 he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and was discharged in 1960. He later worked as a Truck Driver before retiring in 2009.
In his free time, Wilbur enjoyed fishing. He will be greatly missed by his dog, Ricky. They loved to sit on the bench in front of the house and visit with the neighbors.
Wilbur is survived by his wife, Donna Maxson; daughters, Connie Willmon and Kathy Boeckel; son, Ken Maxson; sisters Patty Ayers and Jeanie Waters, as well as by one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Merle Maxson.
Wilbur will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
