William Jacob Hensel passed away on Dec. 14, 2011 from a return of cancer. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Diane, and daughters, Lisa, Lori (Greg) Good, and Wendy. He is also survived by grandsons Christopher and Riley. Bill was a builder in Columbia County for many years. He developed Riverview Heights in Columbia City. In 1989 he moved to Woodburn so he could golf as much as he wanted.
His memorial service will be held on Friday, Dec. 30th at 11:30 at Hillside Chapel in Oregon City with Pastor Barry Rogge officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, Hospice of McMinneville, or the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
